a quiet stay
large room quiet location
The room was certainly large. it featured a sofa. breakfast was a plus. I was able to get a cooked meal each morning. the location seemed very quiet, a big plus for me.

bike hire was available on site, with a convenient option for local exploration. the hotel provided free parking directly on the street outside, and this eliminated any parking concerns. these amenities.

staff were nice. the owners provided information when asked. i appreciated their assistance in understanding local routes and nearby attractions. the service felt present without being intrusive.

breakfast included both cooked and continental options, offering a choice. the breakfast room was a good size and clean. i found the coffee to be hot and the juice very cold, an important detail in my opinion.

The cooked breakfast featured quality ingredients. I specifically noted the free-range eggs. The room had all necessary facilities for my short stay. It included a nice shower (and a comfy bed!).

worn sofa squeaking bed
The hosts were friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options.
I had a pretty big room on the top floor. It felt worn. One part of the sofa had crumbs. The bed made squeaking noises when I turned over.
